About Golden Crescent Regional Council
For over a decade, Trauma Service Area “S” has been dedicated to trauma care in the Golden Crescent area of Texas. The Golden Crescent Regional Advisory Council (GCRAC) is comprised of representatives from EMS services, Hospitals, and other large stake-holders in DeWitt, Calhoun, Victoria, Goliad, Lavaca, and Jackson counties.
The mission of the council is to facilitate the development, implementation, and operation of a comprehensive regional emergency health system based on accepted standards of care in a collaborative effort to decrease morbidity and mortality. Through public and professional education, injury prevention, and performance improvement efforts, GCRAC is making the Golden Crescent a safer place to work, play, and visit.
