Please mark your calendars! The 2025 Mid Coast Hurricane & Disaster Conference will take place on April 2–3, 2025, at the Victoria Community Center in Victoria, TX.

This annual conference has grown significantly over the years, welcoming more than 500 participants from across Texas, including first responders, healthcare professionals, critical infrastructure representatives, public sector officials, business leaders, and energy and industry professionals.

The purpose of the conference is to share valuable information, provide training, and highlight lessons learned and best practices for responding to local, regional, and statewide hazards—whether natural, technological, or man-made. Additionally, the conference fosters networking opportunities, which have proven to enhance interagency coordination during complex emergencies and disasters. Building relationships with response partners before an incident occurs leads to improved communication, partner recognition, and a better understanding of available resources.

The event will kick off with a Pre-Conference Educational Series on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, featuring various training opportunities and presentations. Details about the sessions will be announced soon. The main 2025 Mid Coast Hurricane & Disaster Conference will follow on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
