The Hospital Planning Group (HPG) is a multidisciplinary membership of all hospitals in our RAC who participate in the disaster planning, education and management for our region. Our RAC utilizes an all hazards approach to disaster management. We consider everything from Pandemic Flu, Bioterrorism, Hazardous Materials to the impact of acts of nature such as hurricane and flood. The HPG meets monthly to assess current plans and education levels and review equipment purchases necessary to position our region favorably in the event of a disaster.

As much as is possible, we coordinate plans, education and equipment, to maximize the utility to all participants.
